Congratulations to Nick McCrory and David Boudia of the United States for winning bronze in synchronized diving at the London Olympics. The male duo followed the US women's duo who took the silver. It seems America's 12-year streak of no medals has ended and their beautiful efforts have finally paid off. This is the first men's medal since 1996!
Fresh from returning as iconic vampire huntress Selene in last January's “Underworld: Evolution,” Kate Beckinsale now plays Lori, the seemingly loving wife who turns ruthless killer, in Columbia Pictures' sci-fi action-thriller “Total Recall.”
The film is directed by Len Wiseman, Beckinsale’s real-life husband of seven years. The two previously worked together on the “Underworld” films.
In the movie, Rekall is a futuristic company that can turn your dreams into real memories. For a factory worker named Douglas Quaid (Colin Farrell), even though he's got a beautiful wife (Beckinsale) who he loves, the mind-trip sounds like the perfect vacation from his frustrating life - real memories of life as a super-spy might be just what he needs. But when the procedure goes horribly wrong, Quaid becomes a hunted man.
Finding himself on the run from the police, Quaid teams up with a rebel fighter Melina (Jessica Biel) to find the head of the underground resistance (Bill Nighy). The line between fantasy and reality gets blurred and the fate of his world hangs in the balance as Quaid discovers his true identity, his true love, and his true fate.
Beckinsale said she was particularly attracted to this project because of the role’s duality. "I've never played a bad guy before. I've always been on the side of truth and justice,” she says. “But the thing is, my character thinks she is on the side of truth and justice. That’s the great thing about this movie – you never know who’s on the right side. Also, there's a slightly maniacal side of her – she's slightly out of control, and that's always fun for an actor to play."
New Line Cinema, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, and Warner Bros. Pictures Announce Third Film in The Hobbit Trilogy
BURBANK, CA, JULY 30, 2012 — Peter Jackson will make a third film in his upcoming adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, it was jointly announced today by Toby Emmerich, President and Chief Operating Officer, New Line Cinema, Gary Barber and Roger Birnbaum, Co-Chairman and Chief Executive Officers, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, and Jeff Robinov, President, Warner Bros. Pictures Group.
Jackson, the Academy Award®-winning filmmaker behind the blockbuster “The Lord of the Rings” Trilogy, recently wrapped principal photography on what he originally planned to be a two-film adaptation of The Hobbit, which is set in Middle-earth 60 years before The Lord of the Rings.
Jackson stated, “Upon recently viewing a cut of the first film, and a chunk of the second, Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens and I were very pleased with the way the story was coming together. We recognized that the richness of the story of The Hobbit, as well as some of the related material in the appendices of The Lord of the Rings, gave rise to a simple question: do we tell more of the tale? And the answer from our perspective as filmmakers and fans was an unreserved ‘yes.’ We know the strength of our cast and of the characters they have brought to life. We know creatively how compelling and engaging the story can be and—lastly, and most importantly—we know how much of the tale of Bilbo Baggins, the Dwarves of Erebor, the rise of the Necromancer, and the Battle of Dol Guldur would remain untold if we did not fully realize this complex and wonderful adventure. I’m delighted that New Line, MGM and Warner Bros. are equally enthusiastic about bringing fans this expansive tale across three films.”
Emmerich stated, “We completely support Peter and his vision for bringing this grand adventure to the screen over the course of three films. Peter, Fran and Philippa’s reverence for the material and understanding of these characters ensure an exciting and expanded journey that is bound to please fans around the world.”

I can't tell whether if it's the London Olympics or is Tom Daley just crazy hot?
My two posts on Tom are the top 2 in my most popular posts and if you ask me, I can't blame my followers.
I agree with them completely and yes, I am a Tom Daley fan. Thanks to a blogger friend, here are the latest Tom Daley photos from the London Olympics and it validates our findings... He is the hottest diver in the world today. And he's only 18 years old!
Keep watching the London Olympics and maybe, just maybe, we'll see the water sizzle when he plunges into it one of these days. Hahaha! Enjoy! :o)
Did you like this post? Here are my Top 2 posts which are all about Tom Daley:

Whohoo! It's official, THE HOBBIT will be three movies!
LOTR Director Peter Jackson confirmed the news on Monday after hinting at plans to spread the story over a trilogy rather than just the two scheduled releases. See Jackson's announcement from his Facebook page below.
As announced, the first movie, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, opens in December.
The second installment called The Hobbit: There and Back Again is set to hit theaters for December 2013.
And the “new” third movie is said to be released in summer 2014, though no official date is set.
Peter Jackson’s Announcement:
It is only at the end of a shoot that you finally get the chance to sit down and have a look at the film you have made. Recently Fran, Phil and I did just this when we watched for the first time an early cut of the first movie – and a large chunk of the second. We were really pleased with the way the story was coming together, in particular, the strength of the characters and the cast who have brought them to life. All of which gave rise to a simple question: do we take this chance to tell more of the tale? And the answer from our perspective as the filmmakers, and as fans, was an unreserved ‘yes.’
We know how much of the story of Bilbo Baggins, the Wizard Gandalf, the Dwarves of Erebor, the rise of the Necromancer, and the Battle of Dol Guldur will remain untold if we do not take this chance. The richness of the story of The Hobbit, as well as some of the related material in the appendices of The Lord of the Rings, allows us to tell the full story of the adventures of Bilbo Baggins and the part he played in the sometimes dangerous, but at all times exciting, history of Middle-earth.
So, without further ado and on behalf of New Line Cinema, Warner Bros. Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Wingnut Films, and the entire cast and crew of “The Hobbit” films, I’d like to announce that two films will become three.
It has been an unexpected journey indeed, and in the words of Professor Tolkien himself, ”a tale that grew in the telling.”
New CBS Gay-Straight Sitcom, PARTNERS trailer | Stars former Superman Brandon Routh as gay lover! MUST-SEE!
Oh my gosh, I can't wait!!! A new and exciting gay-straight sitcom is set to debut on CBS this September!
PARTNERS, a new sitcom about architects with differing sexual orientations—mirroring the real-life relationship of its producers, Will & Grace co-creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan
The new show stars my most favorite men! Argh!!! Numb3rs star David Krumholz (Joe, the straight guy) and Ugly Betty's Michael Urie (Louis, the gay guy) who play odd couple-type friends and co-workers whose relationship is often victimized by their romantic entanglements: Joe gets engaged to Ali (Sophia Bush) and Louis lands oh so hot new boyfriend Wyatt played by the gay magnet and former Superman Brandon Routh. How lucky can someone be and date Superman huh? Hahaha!
I don't know if I am speaking for myself but this for me is like an eat-all-you can buffet of crushes! Hahaha! It brings together all types both intellectually and physically and feels like having your own palace of Gods in your own home. Okay, okay... Enough already right?
Here's a look at the behind-the-scenes of the show. Enjoy and let me know what you think ayt!!! :o)

Alexander Ludwig was first noticed as the curious young man in Race To Witch Mountain. Acting alongside the huge Dwayne Johnson, physically, Zxander was simply seen as a strong willed young boy that needed a a powerful influence to keep him in control.
It was however his role as "Cato" in Hunger Games that his features began to show sex appeal. And since that film, he has then booked magazine shoots left and right. And why not?
Born on May 7, 1991, Zxander, also a musician now stands 6 feet and 2 inches high. His sexy gray eyes are framed by a gorgeous jaw line that give his beautiful thin lips the perfect amount of mischievous smirk space. An angelic and yet sexy portrait crowned by an all American, or shall we say "Canadian" blonde.
Brands here in the Philippines have been booking leading men from various television shows and films, maybe it's time Bench and Penshoppe take a deeper look. If you ask me, Alexander would look so much better than all the "All Stars" put together and leave you "Hungry" for more. Just check out these photos!
"My Heart lies in music and acting, however, my inspiration comes from adrenaline rush l get from sports... and life."
"My parents know how passionate I've always been about acting. I convinced them this was something that i was going to put my heart and soul into."

A new Olympic swim star is born and he is absolutely adorable! With his puppy eyes and beautiful huge frame, he can pass for a drop dead gorgeous archangel! Okay, he may not be that new but who cares! Haha!
Ryan Lochte beat fellow U.S. swimmer Michael Phelps in the 400-meter individual medley at the Summer Olympics in London on Saturday, beating the world’s most successful Olympian and placing Lochte’s rise as one of the stars of these Games.
Lochte, 27, won the gold medal with a time of 4 minutes, 5.18 seconds, faster than Brazil’s Thiago Pereira and Japan’s Kosuke Hagino.
Lochte says, “I think I’m kind of in shock right now,” after winning.
Phelps, who barely qualified for the event, failed to win a medal for the first time since the 2000 Sydney Olympics, when he was 15.
This is Lochte’s seventh medal overall. He has so far collected four golds, two silvers and a bronze over the course of the 2004 and 2008 Games.
Phelps tweeted Lochte after the competition saying, “Congrats to @ryanlochte … Way to keep that title in the country where it belongs!!”
Phelps continued to tweet, “Not pleased with my race tonight at all… But tom is a new day! And a new race!!”
Gossip Cop reports that Phelps still has six more events in London, and remains two medals behind Soviet gymnast Larisa Latynina’s record of 18.
